""The boathouse is such a lovely and peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle of the busier seaside resorts. It offers the best of both worlds. Despite being a popular venue for weddings, the music was kept at a low volume and we couldn't hear anything from room 6, so we had a really good night's sleep. My two children had a blast at the little play park, and the breakfast was absolutely delightful. The room rates were reasonable, and our overall experience was just lovely. Thank you!""

" We arrived a little earlier than expected and we were welcomed by our hosts Debbie and Shaun. We were shown to our room which was very clean and well maintained including the shared toilet/shower room. The beds (2 singles) were very comfortable. The room had a tv, fridge, kettle and tea,coffee milk and sugar. Would definitely recommend Sunnyside Hotel as a place to stay in Great Yarmouth. Thank you Debbie and Shaun."

"We were left instructions to access the room, as owner had to go out before we arrived, all very straight forward. Was in a different one to the room booked which should have been sunrise. The room was spacious, plenty of storage, milk in fridge and cake too. Toiletries in bathroom. Breakfast was very good, a lot of choice. Owners were very friendly and helpful. A lovely place to stay"

"Wow!! Absolutely amazing! Really hoping we can return at some point. Ros and Simon are just the best hosts too. We felt really spoiled with freshly baked bread, pastries and coffee to accompany our cooked breakfast. Cleanliness and comfort to the highest standard. Really was home from home. "We had a great 3 night stay with 2 children and 2 adults. As others have said, the upstairs rm is really only accessible for older children (5/6 +) & adults due to v v steep stairway. Bed upstairs was super comfy, twin beds a little on the hard side for us. Note that only 13 tog duvets were available if this is likely to be a problem. "The bungalow is beautiful, spotless and spacious with everything you could need for a holiday. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog.The location was ideal with being just 2 minutes away from the sand dunes which you can walk over to the beach. Winterton is beautiful with pretty properties a shop, coffee shop & pub with beach shacks providing hot,& cold drinks & food and icecream. The whole place is a doggy heaven. "
