You will spend your vacation close to the Winterberg ski resort with a wide range of sports facilities, the St. Georg ski jump on the Herrloh and the bobsleigh run in the VELTINS-EisArena. Varied ski and toboggan runs offer something for everyone, whether beginner or professional. In the evening, you can enjoy a very special flair on floodlit runs. Winterberg invites all nature and sports enthusiasts not only in winter, but also in summer. The natural landscape offers ideal conditions for an adventure vacation at any time of year.



To the north of the old town, with its many old half-timbered houses, is the spa park In der Helle, where you can play mini golf in summer and toboggan in winter. One of the highest and probably best-known mountains in the Sauerland, the Kahle Asten, where the Lenne rises, is located in the Winterberg district.
