"Great, friendly/welcoming bar/front of house staff it makes a difference. Room was comfortable with a great shower, fluffy towels and very clean. Sunday lunch and the Thai fish cakes were tasty along with a good English breakfast. Very nice area and some awesome country walks nearby, a definite return when travelling up north. "

"Excellent 10 out of 10. Our 3 day Xmas period stay with our dog was from arrival absolutely superb. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful; the room was warm, comfortably and clean. The food throughout our stay was excellent with a menu to suit everyone and the Xmas lunch was fantastic. This is definitely a place to revisit."

Can’t thank her enough The room we stayed in was stunning, the bed was so comfortable it was a hardship to get up in the morning but Sarah’s breakfasts are not to be missed. "Really lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff and delicious big breakfast! Room had a little en-suite dressing room and huge slipper bath - only downside was that there wasn’t a shower but the bath was a nice change for the one night we stayed! "

"The room and the service was excellent. Fully stocked room and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and everything we needed was provided. Sharon provided everything we needed during the stay, and made us felt very welcome. There are only two rooms within the tea rooms which made it feel very personal staying. The tea room is located in a lovely village that has 3 pubs and has some really nice walks. We have even booked to return next year."
