"Boy, does this place take me back to my childhood when places like this were the norm. A cute, little roadside motel that was so common in the 1960s/70s, before the generic and bland chain hotels took over. Though dated (obviously), the room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good and the one staff member that checked me in was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the "throwback" feel of this place, and felt a real sense of nostalgia staying there. We need more places like the Lamberton Hotel. "

"The cottage is adorable & the lake views are so pretty. It’s definitely very small, but we knew that & we appreciated that the small space allowed for a great value. Our family of four had a great weekend enjoying Okaboji for the first time & the cabin provided a great home base for our adventures. It is well stocked with all of the basics and was very clean. Thanks for a wonderful weekend! "
