The breakfast and dinner in the resort was really really good and good price value!! As well the kitebuddy station as family owned place highly recommended !! Unfortunately the bad plankets are uncomfy and feels like cheap plastic. Many mosquitoes and one of the owner tends to be lazy in service terms… coffee remained there two days and beds did not maintained. Btw/ pls remove the dead fish

A unique authentic Srilanka experience

We enjoyed our Wind Blend experience so much that we extended our stay for a full week. The resort is at the heart of the Kappalady village, giving you a unique feeling of being part of the local community. The hotel itself is brand new and beautifully designed; it is built with wood and coconut palms, and offers all the comfort you need for a relaxing stay. The team is amazing and took great care of us. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price, which is a great opportunity to discover local flavours. We loved it.

Our stay was 3 nights. Nice staff and they tried to help. The Wifi was not working all the time. There was no yoga available. Kitchen staff did not know much english, so we had problems with dietary issues. The water served in dinners is not bottled water. Maybe better not to drink.

Eine Tropenoase ganz aus natürlichen Materialien gebaut. Der lokale Besitzer hat mit viel Geschmack eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft gestaltet. Das leckere landestypische Essen wird mit Gemüse, Kräutern und Früchten aus eigenem Anbau zubereitet.

Everything was perfect.A very warm welcome by the host and his wife. Food was various and very delicious and organic with vegetables and fruit from the own garden. We enjoyed the short walk to the nice and endless beach as well as swimming and walking along the endless beach.We are no kite surfers but nevertheless we had a lot of fun riding our bikes that were given to us by Wind Blend. The staff is so amazingly friendly that we extended our stay for another week. And we are sure that we will come back by the end of this year.

Mysigt ställe med omtänksam personal.

Härlig och lugn atmosfär. Jag reser Själv så känslan av att känna sig trygg är viktig, vilket jag kände här till 110%. De var väldigt hjälpsamma och lånade ut en cykel till mig så jag kunde se mig omkring lite lättare. Maten var riktigt god och de var noga med att få till det så att det funkade för mig då jag inte kan äta gluten. De till och med bakade ett speciellt bröd till mig på morgonen som jag kunde äta:). Han som jobbar där är även utbildad guide så man kan få riktigt bra tips om man reser runt i landet som jag gör. Kan verkligen rekommendera stället!

We loved this accommodation. It was the best of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is unique, new and spotless clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful with anything we required, and the location was perfect. If you want to experience holidaying in a village, then this is the place. Tourism is minimal here, so you get to see the real thing. We hired a couple of scooters, as the area was quite safe to ride, with very few vehicles on the roads. It was nice to roam through the streets, along the beach and past the market gardens. If you want to experience village life in Sri Lanka and have a nice quiet break, then Wind Blend Kite Resort is the place to stay. Thank you to Sudath and team for the memorable stay.
