While we chose to walk the short distance between the home and dock, as great bonding /conversation time, if you have small children or others with ailments I would encourage renting the golf cart. "We arrived before check in time (in town for a wedding) but the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We enjoyed the coffee available all day. There was a full breakfast that helped get us on the road the morning of check out. Our room was clean with no condition issues noted. The parking lot is a little tight...just be alert in maneuvering in & out"

"We had a short family vacation before my husband started chemo treatments. We had the best time! My brother in law brought his pontoon boat and having the dock at the house made it so convenient. We had plenty of room and enjoyed grilling and eating on the deck! The owner was great to respond to any needs that we had!"

"I can't espouse enough about how great this stay was! The property was fantastic, very clean and laid out great for 2 families with young ones. (The little side bedroom off the 2 masters were the selling point!) We had the boat in the water all weekend, super short drive to the winchester boat ramp and local marina. We fished off the dock and the kids had a blast catching bluegills. Will be staying again!"
