"The cottage was lovely, clean and fresh. There was attention to detail with the welcome hamper, dog treats and bowls and having washing tabs etc all at ease was great. The communication was good with Jane from Mudhuts responding to any of our queries before and throughout our stay.We very much enjoyed the woodlands, literally on the doorstep, and were lucky that for most of our stay the weather was dry so we could be out and about. "Great place for a short stay, minor niggles with some cutlery not being clean and heating in the top bedroom not turning on, but everything else was fantastic. Great bedding, super comfy, had everything we needed. We had the 12 days of Christmas at the Elderflower which was close enough we did not need coats to get there. Stunning morning watching the sky at sunrise on the balcony too. Would stay again."

"The cottage is on a good location for seeing Winchester, Stockbridge amd the Army Flying Museum. It could benefit from some redecoration in places but overall it is well equipped and comfortable. It is dog friendly with an enclosed safe garden. The pub in the village is lovely, friendly, pool table and an evening menu. "
