"The following comments are not complaints at all. We loved the property, but they are observations. The listing states a bbq grill, but we had to go get propane. If that's intentional then maybe it should state somewhere that we have to get it ourselves. Also the ignitor doesn't work. There was a lighter that was out of fluid , but there was a box of matches. On the deck the light fixture was busted and sitting on the table, and the door track was hanging down. There was no lighting at the front door, bulb out? The solars on the path all busted. We noticed there are no door stoppers, and there are marks on the walls from the door knobs touching. We thought it odd that the listing said not to burn candles, but there were several candles in the place. I know it's not up to the house to have every little thing, but would have liked plastic wrap or foil or baggies, a colander, a blender in the kitchen. No Kleenex. Again these are just observations, My entire family thought the property is great. We loved the picture that was the drawing of a family without faces."

"One doesn't go to Indiana Beach to stay in the hotel room. The most incredibly wonderful things about Alexander's is location. Steps away from the park. Walk and return to the hotel and use multiple entry park passes. Second is the amazing outdoor patio. I researched and know that over $20,000 was spent just in outdoor furniture overlooking Shafer Lake. Opportunities to cook out, corn hole, and water sports and an indoor pool. The room #7 had a full kitchen, very small bathroom, and two double beds. What an amazing stay except.... Mattresses need to be replaced. And the steps down to reach the room: Huge steps and no handrails. Yes, we are in our mid-80s. I know you are thinking we should stay home in our rocking chairs until we die. (We don't own rocking chairs). It was easier to use the hillside beside the steps. All in all. Please know we were extremely happy with our stay."

"Very pleasant stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms were nice, everything seemed to work. My only negative issue was the beds were a little too hard and pillows were way to full..., over full! Slight musty odor. Nice pool too! Great shower pressure and jets in tub worked well."
