Loved the location and the view!! It was comfortable and it was nice being close to town. We stayed in Saturday night; we were having such a nice time at the house that we didn’t want to leave.

Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and the kids/grandkids loved the lake (2 dams on the creek made a great wide spot) right behind the house

The house is beautiful, but very homey and comfortable. The views are breathtaking. Would definitely advise anyone who wants to see Texas Hill country, great location!

This is a wonderful getaway in the hill country. Absolutely beautiful home. We really enjoyed the back patio area with the fire pit, hot tub, and wonderful view of the creek.

We didn’t want to leave. If you like solidarity, but being close and convenient to shopping and good food, this is a great place to stay.

The house was beautiful and a perfect location. Unfortunately we stayed during a drought and we’re not able to enjoy the water. The house was overall clean but there was an overwhelming amount of dead bugs everywhere upon arrival. Would definitely stay again when there is water!

The house is on a great piece of property with views of a cliff face and creek. The kitchen was fully stocked and the grill was clean and worked well. There was plenty of firewood for the fire pit and the hot tub was great. The house layout is unique and open with a good amount of communal space. Towels, linens, and extra blankets were all in good shape and clean. We had a great time.

We had so much fun!!! I will say the house showed its age a little bit in some areas and the layout was different than expected (master on one side and the other three bedrooms on the other side of the house, all connected in some sort of way) we really enjoyed it!!! It was perfect for what we needed

Lovely property, custom house. Please check water levels for the river. We came at a low river level which begged us to have another experience back when it is high.

This was our second time staying at this house. We like the house and the property that's why we chose to stay here again. The reason for the four star reviews is because the house could use a little TLC. there was no one thing was big deal but there were a lot of little things that added up.
Overall we love the location, house and property and would stay here again, but wish the owner would invest a little bit into fixing up the house a little.

We stayed at the property a couple years ago and it’s just in need of care. Not clean: Dust on furniture, floors dirty/tacky in a few areas, dog hair (we don’t have pets), outside stone work could use power wash. General maintenance:Broken blind in master bedroom, knob hole upstairs and repaired but not repainted in master bathroom, master bath partially replaced towel hooks, couch coming apart at cushions, refrigerator shelves broken, trash can drawer doesn’t operate properly, back patio double door doesn’t latch properly, wood could use cleaning and restaining, hot tub filter cover doesn’t secure in place. Several wasps in the home and wasp nest in living room ceiling. Outdated internet service and poor Wi-Fi coverage. Could use upgraded service and Wi-Fi extenders particularly with stone and stucco walls. Great place for adventurous kids, hiking and exploring! Easy access to downtown Wimberley.

The home is beautiful. The area between the house and the water was pretty overgrown. With more care it could a beautiful property. The master shower was not clean. Many spiders and spider webs around the front door. Seems to need more attention to cleaning. The AC vent upstairs that you can see from downstairs was very dirty. Especially compared with the pictures I based my decision on. The satellite TV tuner box in the second bedroom would not work. Also in the second bedroom the AC unit would not run. After contacting the management, they responded by sending a technician the next day to get it working.

Absolutely beautiful property, well maintained, civilization near by enough in Wimberly to have all the comforts of home, but secluded enough property/area to really enjoy the hill country wilderness.
As an outdoors enthusiast,10/10 would rent again.

Amazing property, location to Wimberly is great, then easy trips into San Antonio and Austin. Quiet, and relaxing. House, actually LODGE is great, amazing architecture. Comfy beds, big bathrooms, everything was clean and as it should be. Hot tub worked great, and was used every night. Nothing bad to say honestly. Loved it.

Property is in a great location along a very scenic creek. Its an easy drive into Wimberley for shopping, eating, etc. Also, its an hour away from Fredericksburg, New Braunfels, and other fun Central Texas towns. The only complaint is that it could use some freshening up - definitely showing its age on the interior which makes it seem dirtier than it actually is. Also, the floor plan is a little tricky; not really a four bedroom since one of the "bedrooms is a loft in another bedroom". But the loft is good for kids.
