"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights and it was fine for our needs. The morning breakfast is good. The motel is also in a convenient place. Restaurants, grocery store, gas stations all near by. Just not walkable to anywhere - very busy road."

"Overall larger than expected, otherwise exactly as advertised. Had everything we needed. Host very responsive and kind. Easy short walk to community lake areas. Dog friendly which was fine for us, but definitely evidence of dog (hair etc). Would rent again!"

"This Maine log cabin is absolutely beautiful. Ingham pond is serene and gorgeous. We kayaked, swam in the pond, hiked, and fished. We saw loons, herons and bald eagles. Roger was an amazing host. Very responsive, and his property is probably the most beautiful VRBO property we have ever seen. Highest possible recommendation. The cabin is fantastically equipped and furnished. We had a few people with us so we rented the bunk house also. Such a great weekend! We really hope to return soon!"

"We had an amazing stay at this house and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location was incredibly convenient (only about 20 minutes from Sunday River) which made getting to and from the mountain quick. Seth was an outstanding host from start to finish. He was extremely responsive, easy to communicate with, and always willing to help with any questions we had, whether it was about the house or local recommendations. The house itself was perfect for our group of 10. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably while still having great common areas to hang out together. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient spot near Sunday River. We’d happily stay here again! PS… We also recommend the Brick & Stone Tavern for dinner :) "
Charming Lakeview House with Deck, Cozy Fireplace and firepit

"Property was very charming, very clean and very quiet at night. As a senior citizen, the slope of the drive and walking up the steps was challenging at times. There was no lock on the door when we arrived. We walked right in. That was a little unnerving. The TV in the bedroom did not work that is it was not connected to the service and the bed in the front bedroom would move and whatever it is it’s underneath it would move and eventually the bed would feel like you’re at an angle. It woke me up almost every night. I had to keep moving the whatever it was underneath the bed back under the bed so it would be even it stabilized overall I like the place, but I don’t think the listing properly portrayed to the public."
