We loved the easy access of this ground floor unit, and the area was peaceful and quiet. The local grocery store and bottle shop was very convenient. Overall, the unit was clean and comfortable - but it is an older condo and it felt that way. The kitchen had all the basic amenities we needed, but pots/pans, etc were older, mis-matched and somewhat limited. I did LOVE finding salt, pepper and a few other spices in the cupboard. Would be great if the listing indicated that there is both a hot water kettle and a 12-cup drip coffee maker available, and the coffee basket liners and sugar are stocked. The toilet/shower is separate from the spacious sink and counter area, which I really liked, but the shower room was strangely VERY narrow! And there were no hooks on the door or wall to hang clothes, so had to use the toilet lid. The bedroom had a comfortable king size memory foam mattress, but the bed was a bit too high off the floor for this older gal with bad knees and back. A small step stool would have been great, but I managed to climb in each night (there is a 3-step ladder in the closet but that was too big for bedside!)The property management company Outpost sent detailed communications & were available to assist if needed. My primary complaint: all the added fees. The per night cost was very reasonable, but after Outpost added a "property wellness fee" (??) and an enormous cleaning fee, our rental price DOUBLED! The VRBO service fee is also getting too high.
