"the kindness and hospitality of Peter knows absolutely no bounds. he makes you feel immediately at home and at ease. the property is well taken care of, the beds are comfortable and despite being located above a pub, i still had a great sleep. clean bathrooms, one of the nicest showers known to man and absolutely mind blowing breakfast spread. price/quality ratio doesn’t even compare, it’s simply too good to be true. thank you, peter, for everything you do! i can’t wait to come back again. "Booked to stay as we were attending the wedding of our nephew. Early wedding so had to leave our bags in the car until after 2pm check-in. Not really a problem but would have been nice to hang my extra clothes earlier. Staff polite and helpful. Room OK but no aircon so quite warm. There was a desk fan in the room so that helped. Breakfast was good with a variety of continental and cooked breakfast. Refreshed regularly"

"This Mercure is one of the best. Usually come here 2/3 times a year and every time the staff are so welcoming and kind. Privilege rooms are fantastic and worth the extra coin. Gym and Spa facilities are excellent and from my experience not over crowded. "
