"Just as described, the beautiful restoration was secluded and quiet and close to Concord and Contoocook. We stocked up on local farm goods at the nearby Dimond Hill Farm. The house was well stocked in linens and the kitchen, and activity shed. We even had a cute baby porcupine grazing nearby as we had some morning coffee by the fire pit."

"We loved our stay. It has the relaxed, welcoming vibe of a vintage lake cottage. The waterfront is isolated from neighbors which we and our dog enjoyed. The porch is huge and is where we spent most of our time. Views are great. Louis came by to put one of the docks in early for us-- and allowed us to extend at the last minute. He was a great host. We'd come again."

"This house was perfect. It was clean, and well equipped. Beautiful location. We found so many nearby fall activities. And the foliage was peaking, everywhere was beautiful. The Intervale Pancake House next to Pats Peak has a great breakfast. Hikes in Fox Forest. I enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning with my coffee and the evening with my wine. If you’re looking for a not too far fall getaway, this place is what you want! Thank you Tim!"

"The view of the lake is outstanding! The location is a little away from the action but is very peaceful and easy access to the interstate. It was great for leaf peeping in the white mountains and Vermont. The only negative was that heating could have used better instructions. It took us several nights to figure it out, but after that all was good."

"100 percent recommend staying here! 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are perfect. We wanted space and we got exactly that. The screened in porch was great as well! We rented a boat and the dock was excellent. Ruth was fantastic with responding prior to the stay and I had two questions during. They were answered very quickly. 5/5 stars!"

"The property was exactly as listed, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. In addition, it was very spacious and could easily accommodate our extended family of 10. Also, whenever there was an issue or a problem – which was never the owner’s fault – the property manager was extremely responsive, and went above and beyond to take care of it. We had only one main criticism, which is that we wish more of the windows had screens. We could not open the others without bugs...

"Cute cottage no bugs!! Overall the cottage was a great place to stay for weekend get away. I especially liked not seeing cobwebs or crawling insects! The owner was quick to respond to any concerns I had. I loved the water view from the deck and the stars at night were awesome! Chilling with a nice glass of wine was great!"

"His property was the perfect base to ski at Sunapee and explore the area around Newbury and New London. House is fully outfitted, and may be the most completely outfitted rental we've ever had! Plenty of clean quality pots and pans, plates, silverware, glassware, all nice and matched, furniture very comfortable And having its own gym was terrific. If you're looking for a place with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms in a relaxed setting, you can't go wrong with this. John, our host was responsive...
