"Location is ideal for Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. Convenient access to chain restaurants and Walmart. The room was good size, breakfast had enough variety, the free coffee/tea station was great. We had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room so that was nice. The humidity obviously affects the furniture and the walls, so it made the furnishings look a little old. Other than that it was a great stay."

"Staff was very friendly, breakfast was yummy especially the cinnamon waffles. We had a king size room, and there was a lot of room, wished there was a couch but otherwise the room was comfortable."

"This place is rather dated and needs several upgrades in the rooms. The sinks are very shallow, no vanity space at. Needs new paint. Staff is friendly and very welcoming. Overall good location close to River walk, battle ship, downtown shops, and the convention center."

"Very unusual facility is it a hotel, motel, bed and breakfast or none of the above. It's different but in a good way. No easy way to describe it except to say if it's convenient to where you want to be you'll be enjoying old world charm."
