The hotel was closed due to damage suffered from Hurricane Florence, that is NOT the problem..... the problem is that I was not made aware of the hotel being closed and had to make late night plans for a new place to stay..... Orbitz DID assist with finding a new hotel but it would have been nice to know in advance of the day arriving.

It was closed ; no one advised us . We got to Wilmington and had to scramble to find a room. It cost 3x the rate we booked.

Hotel was closed because of damage from hurricane Florence. Ther was no one on site to answer questions. The phone number for the hotel always had a message saying all circuits were busy. I had to travel to Lumberton NC. to get a room (1 1/2 ) hours each way for 2 days so as to attend my scheduled function.

Reserved a king size bed but was given a queen. Key to the door barely functioned, took us 5 minutes to get in to the room. Room had an odd odor like wet clothes or old mop water. Due to arriving to the property after midnight we chose to keep the room and checked out early in the morning.

Staff was friendly and accommodated our request. The room was clean, curtains didn't close properly and the chair had a ripped cushion. We did go to the pool but it looked like mold was on the interior walls, didn't look clean or sanitary. In the past times we've stayed here the pool was much better kept.

Mattress was terrible. Room odor. Woke up around 2 AM with back hurting and difficulty breathing. I have a fungus allergy. Must have been mildew spores coming from AC and in the old wrinkled carpet. From a room furnishings standpoint, sliver plating on mirror bad and furnishings were old.

Mold in the bathroom- rooms smelled like mildew. Old chipped up furniture, the bottom of the refrigerator door was rusted. Beds actually squeaked. Carpets were frayed. Our room was missing the inside curtains. The third floor had some soft spots in the floor. Doesn't look like they have done any remodeling in quite some time.

Very family friendly hotel. Breakfast is an ok selection. The room was very clean and the maids did a great job cleaning everyday. The WiFi is crap! Barely worked while we were there. The staff is great and friendly. Location of hotel is great! About 15-20 to Carolina beach and 10mins to Wrightsville Beach. Also a lot of restaurants and stores are close by.

Great breakfast
Desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in desperate need of upgrade. The door to our room stuck and we had a hard time getting in and out of the room. The beds were very comfortable but were only full size which made it hard to sleep with 2 people in one bed. Room was not as clean as we would have liked but not nasty. The breakfast was fantastic though. Had plenty of selections for every ones taste. We were dropping off my granddaughter at UNCW and it was very convenient to the college and all shopping and restaurants.

I mean... it worked. And the dog was allowed. It was very smelly. Not the kind the AC running could take out. It smelled like smoke, mildew, and dogs. Which having my own there made sense. The curtains were the grossest thing I ever saw. Filthy. Filthy. Like they had never been washed and they stunk so bad. I freaked out when my child ducked under them and they touched her head. Would not do this again.... it felt quite shady. And it was hard to settle in for the night feeling so unclean.
