"Beautiful property with the best amenities we've ever encountered (except the lack of a television)....snacks, drinks, coffee. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, and our room was lovely...would definitely recommend the first floor room we had. It was walkable for us, but it may be a little far from the downtown for others. Highly recommended."

"We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3. The hosts were warm and welcoming when they greeted us. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and they provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing. "We spent one day and night at this hotel. Beautiful view of the Whiteface mountains. Very home like atmosphere. Nice rooms with everything you need. Owner of the place very nice and helpful. Lots of toys for kids to play with. My 2 and 4 year old had a blast there. Huge living room with tables board games tv etc. I would definitely recommend it and come back there again."

"This could not have been a more wonderful stay. The manor house is beautiful as are the grounds. The deck overlooks the lake with a lovely path that leads to a dock. Breakfast on the deck was simply joyful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean and tidy. Breakfast was home cooked with fresh and local ingredients. Bring a bottle of wine with you for an evening taking in the fresh air and lake views. The owners are lovely and have thought of everything their guests will need. This is a must...

"We had a nice stay at the Mt Philo Inn. The hosts are so lovely and super accommodating. The East Suite is spacious and homey. It would be perfect for a family. We were given a perfectly curated basket with all the fixings for a Vermont breakfast which we greatly appreciated especially on this snowy weekend. The location is wonderful if you’re interested in hiking as you can walk right to the mountain which we loved. The hosts even supply sleds for a bit of winter fun! "
