"After an initial issue in gaining access as code for door entry hadn't been activated and the emergency number didn't extend for assistance after 5.0pm, arriving at 8.30pm we would have been stumped without getting help from a neighbour opposite who thankfully had the owners personal number which on contacting the door access code was set within 15minutes. Our stay was very good after this initial hiccup and we would stay at the property again. "

"Having struggled to find accommodation that accepts four dogs, we were thrilled that The Barns allowed two dogs in each cottage. The Barns are set in the most glorious grounds and we loved walking up the long drive talking to the horses and sheep. Both the Coach House and Stables have been beautifully renovated to create very comfortable accommodation. Kerry, our host, was incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. "No welcome ' pack ' not even a bottle of milk. Light fittings missing. Main bed the worst ever experienced. The central heating did not work, we sat in overcoats and blankets. Heating set at 16deg. in the middle of winter !Hostess indifferent , realised her responsibility, refused to speak to us and told the agency to ask us to leave due to heating problems and her concern with her insurance Gave full refund but our stay to be near our family was ruined due to lack of maintenance. "The cottage was set in a beautiful location with fabulous views. There was so much attention to detail,the home was super clean and Bec’s very comfortable. We particularly loved the kitchen which was perfect for our family get away. The lounge was really cosy with the log burners- we were even left a rose on Valentine’s Day We will definitely be recommending this cottage to all our friends Thank you so much!
