"Had the Family room for one night, clean and tidy no frills as you would expect. Car parking plentiful and staff freindly. I did not wonder into the bar for food but everyone seemed happy."

"An oasis near the centre of Taunton - All I needed was a beer, some food and a very comfy bed after a hard day and they obliged in ample measure. Although the chef count was down to one through an absence they still managed to rustle up a nice meal (thanks guys). The bed was huge and the room nice and large. Breakfast was ample. All in all it was what we all seek but find it hard to discover these days - Good Value. "

"Weather was very poor unfortunately but the hotel was excellent, the room was first class and there was an excellent bar. Poor weather and cool temperatures in early September would catch out any establishment and so it would be fair to say we were quite cold at times. The restaurant was good but would benefit from a little more organisation as far as members of staff were concerned. "
