"Really not enjoyed, it was never informed renovation going on in tg8s hotel. If it was known never booked. Paid a hefty amount much higher than hotels in down town. Never expected and disappointing."

"Really nice boutique style hotel, lovely pool to relax by after day trips nearby. Made use of the small gym & occasionally ate at the hotel. Service overall good but slow at times & soundproofing in the room relatively non existent. Overall, a good stay at the hotel."

"Not impressed with the staff and service. The staff at the front desk wasn't as friendly and/or happy to be there. The hotel itself is what you expect, historic (and so was everything in it). The exterior of some of the room doors was painted and the smell was strong in our rooms since the doors at the end of the hallways were kept closed. There were several people smoking by the pool :( We ate at the Tharavadu restaurant (a couple of times) and the staff and the food were great! I eat...
