"We rented this place for a small family gathering and extra places for family to stay. The owner was not hard to reach and the place was decently priced for what we needed. It has two bedroom and is in the better part of Hagerstown. The only thing I didn’t really like was the street parking but that is more of a personal pet peeve than anything else. For the price and being in one of the safer places in town I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay."

"We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. "We really enjoyed staying here. Fun little town to visit. Very close to the C&O Canal. We did some hiking but I want to come back again to bike along the trail. Just a note: in the bedroom there is a staircase above and you can hear people walking on it. But, we didn't notice after we went to sleep so not a problem."
