We had asked for an early check in and were told that we would most likely be able to check in by 1pm. We did not get the text that it was ready until 3pm. "Kind of ridiculous that even though my room was ready and I was only 1 hour early you wanted to charge an early arrival fee of $40 on a $400 room . When I refused to pay it , just out of principle, I was told we would need to go find a place to change for golf - so we had to change in our car. Not even the Ritz Carlton charges an early check in , ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ROOM WAS READY ! I have been coming here for years but that little stupid unnecessary fee would make me consider not . Again...
