Absolutely amazing! Carly and Chase are incredible, down to earth and so welcoming! Backlands is an amazing place to disconnect yourself from the everyday. The property is gorgeous with so much to do, and take in. To waking up every morning and see Elk and deer in the fields to Unbelievable stargazing!! All of it is just so amazing, Thank You Backlands.

This place is a hidden gem! Staff was amazing, food was great. We surprised our young adult kids on a little side trip from Scottsdale, and stayed a night at Backland. We shared a tent with five of us and were very comfortable. What an amazing place to walk and explore. The stargazing was awesome, and we all decided we would love to come back.

This is a very special resort, unlike no other. The tent is well appointed and way beyind our expectations. The staff is so super helpful and friendly. We really felt their pride in this special place. Highly recommended for all . The breakfast was so fresh and delightful as well as boxed lunch and dinner. I was never a camping fan but I became a fan of glamping for sure . The facilities were really good .. the only beef I have is that the continuous clicking sound of the gas tank outside as I had to keep the heater on in the freezing temps. Otherwise everything was A

First time at glamping. Would definitely recommend this location. There’s a beautiful lake to explore with 4 kayaks from the property. You have all facilities in a big tent. Every day we woke up with the best forest view.
