Second Wind Country Inn

"The host provided detailed information on finding the Inn and checking in. She was very helpful and friendly. The parking area is only steps from the entrance and was well lit. We interior design was perfect, with all the details matching the country theme. The location was close to town, but in the country with wide vistas, allowing us to enjoy both sunrise and sunset as well as the star filled sky. The kitchenette was perfect for us, with a small, but still roomy refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes and excellent selection of utensils and other kitchen tools like hotpads and towels. The two level layout worked well for us allowing for a nice living space to be together, but plenty of room for privacy. The upper seating area was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed with lovely towels and plenty of room. The gathering room was very inviting and cozy. We enjoyed watching the horses as well as meeting the baby donkey. Thank you for making our mother daughter get away perfect."

"A Perfect Family Getaway!We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Finding a rental that comfortably accommodates a large multi-generational family can be a challenging, but this property was perfect for all ages. The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with plenty of space for everyone to relax and make memories. The lake itself was stunning and crystal clean-ideal for spending quality time outdoors. On top of the fantastic setting, the host was exceptional. Communication was prompt and clear throughout our stay, and when we needed something, they were over in minutes to help out. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would love to return!"

"Very clean. All of the amenities were as advertised. The view was amazing. It was like living in the trees. The steps were a must needed challenge my cadiologist must have ordered. Lol. Sunrises are a premium. Plenty of room for five, Highly reccomend."
The fishing is great! Trails are close by. Enjoy summer in the Northwoods!

"We enjoyed our family weekend at the Hygge cabin. The kitchen is well stocked for large group cooking. The kids (and adults) enjoyed the expansive yard, ping pong table, and pickleball! The location is central to lakes, restaurants, and downtown Hayward. Jacob quickly responded when we had questions. Would book here again!"

"Beautiful cabin directly on Lake Superior with a million dollar view! It is a short drive to many different towns, beaches, and waterfalls. The cabin was very well furnished with extra linens/towels and even two extra fold down murph beds. Kitchen had everything and more that a family might need. The kids appreciated the games/toys. There is a second floor balcony deck that is perfect for late night stargazing and a light breeze off the lake kept the bugs at bay. A firepit is located on the lake side of the cabin. The lake is very shallow out front so it is perfect for wading in and even swimming. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay again."
