"Staff is super nice. Hotel is a bit outdated, the rooms can use a decoration refresh but they are big and clean. About a 10 min walk to Gengenbach town centre. Didnât eat at the restaurant but the vibe looked relaxing. "
"Fabulous design hotel with great bar, restaurant and terrace. The rooms are dark and dramatic with all modern amenities, the air conditioning could be fiercer but outside was 32 degrees so not too bad. Great shower pressure. The chef has amazing talent with lots of adventurous dishes. The restaurant staff seemed stressed. Breakfast was excellent too. Free access to the local outdoor pool was a nice touch."

"This place was awesome! Cherry tree right outside one of the bedroom windows. Way more spacious than I thought it would be. So great to have a washer. The dryer is a large drying rack, with plenty of hangers provided to help. So make sure to leave time for your clothes to air dry. There is no AC, but we were still very comfortable with a nice breeze from outside. Very wonderful view, and the host was responsive and a good communicator. Would love to come back someday!"
"An elegant, spacious property ideally located at the edge of this lovely town. We regularly walked the short distance to the many restaurants and cafes and the younger members of our group enjoyed the nearby tennis courts and open air swimming pool. We also enjoyed many walks direct from the house in the hills behind us to discover marvellous views of the vally and town below."

"Loud people living upstairs. Banging around all hours of the night. Not clean. The ad said there was laundry and that was my #1 search requirement as it was mid trip for us. Saw pics with a laundry in the kitchen. No laundry machine was there just an Empty space. Host said thereâs no laundry in town so we all had to hand wash. It was a pain. One couch and nowhere else to sit and visit. Front door lock didnât work very well. Always felt like I was going to be locked out.
Great location just a block from the towns gate. But not worth it. Vrbo should consider delisting unless improvements are made. "

"My husband and I, our daughter and grandchildren spent part of a weekend here. The accommodations were perfect for our needs right down to the games and puzzles for the children! The highlight of this stay though was our host. They were extremely accommodating and very communicative. It made everything go very smoothly for us and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. More so than we actually thought, also due to the beautiful little town of Gengenbach! We were able to walk into town on three separate occasions grab a coffee and meander through the streets and shops. They had a Christmas market while we were there which has turned out so far in seven we have visited in our time in Germany, to be my favorite. Please donât hesitate to stay here and ask any questions that you have. The owners are extremely responsive. Thank you for a wonderful weekend and should we find ourselves in Germany again we would love to come back! "
