"Second time at this cottage - beautiful scenery. Away from everything- which is what we wanted. Well equipped kitchen and fantastic hot tub. You can walk to the local pub, but it’s not the easiest walk - no path and up hill on way back, but do a nice meal. It is so peaceful and has amazing views. Will definitely go back again."

"Lobstone Cottage is in a wonderful location - a paradise for all walkers! We hardly used our car all week. The cottage is comfortable and homely - all we needed. While the front is directly on the narrowest bit of the road going through Rosthwaite, that didn’t bother us. There is no traffic at night - from 8pm it was very quiet, and the first signs of life in Borrowdale were when farm vehicles started to come through around 7am. Would we go back again - yes, indeed!
