"The Gästehaus Sonnenwirth is a fully automated establishment and its checkin system is just the beginning of its problems. We’d prepaid through Expedia but the checkin software couldn’t find the booking. The entrance lobby holds two people and three’s a crowd - the automatic door kept opening and we were battered with rain and hail so we did not enjoy trying to solve the Sonnenwirth’s software problems. The Expedia contact number was answered once by a man who said,”You need to speak to my wife”...

"Nice people, and the basic food was good, comfort food. It hit the spot for us. However, the room left much to be desired. If those were sheets on the bed, it's not what I expect. They were more like mattress covers, and thread bare at that. I would eat there again, but I would not spend the night. Just being honest."

Vor dem Einchecken war Müll in einem Schrank (einschließlich einer Fischverpackung, die sehr schlecht roch). Der Eingang zum Hotel ist sehr leicht zu übersehen. "Came for a 3-day business trip. Location is really outside the city, but the tram is 5 min walk and the frequency is rather good. The property however is in poor maintenance condition. Also - its rather a nuisance that there is no front desk and that the owner is not always there. I imagine its less of a problem in longer stays but for a couple of days it was very uncomfortable. Even though its a low price guesthouse- my experience there was far worse than in similar price-range hotels in...

Quiet place, clean room and the price was a steal inspite of making a last minute booking. The owner was the kindest and even mailed me back a dress I left behind in the room"
