"We had a lovely stay at The Feathers. Highlights - well appointed, modern room with comfortable bed; central location; extremely helpful and friendly staff; and very dog friendly. We didn't eat dinner or breakfast there so cannot comment on the food or restaurant service. Room for improvement - the room was a bit warm (even on a chilly June day) but by opening the window, it became too noisy. Not sure how such an old building could handle that - but otherwise, we very much enjoyed our stay, would stay again and would recommend to others! "

"Happy with everything, used this as a stopover for a long journey, booked a suit for the night. Spacious rooms, brought my 2 dogs. I would ask for a room away from the fire door when I book again. Room service fast and good quality."

"Spotless! Everywhere was very clean, only downside was the light in my bathroom was on a sensor and went off when you were in the shower leaving you in darkness. Staff friendly, food good, little out of the way but worked for me. "
