Lovely bathroom, comfy bed and substantial breakfast for the price we paid. The restaurant in the pub was lovely the staff were so kind and friendly and the food was exceptional, we will definitely come back "

"Fantastic old hotel, our room had oak paneling and ensuite unusually with a jacuzzi! Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food in the restaurant. We didn't find out why they don't do Welsh breakfast but the continently breakfast was vert adequate. "

"we were greeted very warmly and immediately had the feelling that nothing would be too much trouble. Not one single member of staff was unhelpful and, in fact, went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The receptionists were all "doing a proper job" but the main receptionist was born to do that job. She was just lovely. The food was an added bonus."

"Had a great stay at Riverside, sat out next to the river and watched the bats other wildlife. Staff are very helpful and serve very nice locally sourced products for dinner and breakfast."

"Huge rooms ! Bath with shower over.2 chairs or sofa.Massive bed. Stairs up to 1st and 2nd floor are steep. No lift.only 12 bedrooms. Plenty of parking .Breakfast is excellent! Very clean great service. Short walk to castle but very steep!"
