"We stayed here as a base for the Game Fair and it was a great location for that. We didn’t really explore the area much but we did get pizza from The Hertford which was good. There wasn’t any garden chairs and is it was lovely weather this was a bit amid a shame as the domino was in the courtyard a fair bit. The cottage was pretty, tidy, clean and cosy. No welcome package was a bit of a shame as this has become pretty standard for holiday cottages and the garden was overrun with bindweed...

"The cottage was really nice, spotlessly clean, plenty of space and beautifully decorated / accessorised. Peter left a good welcome pack for us including wine (thank you!), and there were flowers in the kitchen too. We were blessed with great weather and sat out in the lovely garden both afternoons/evenings and used the bbq too! The photos do not do it justice! Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area too."
