"Green Gables was clean and affordable, 45 minutes from Lassen Volcanic Park and 90 minutes from Mt. Shasta. It was a good base for 3 days of exploring. I appreciated the comfy chair and hassock. The front desk folks were kind and helpful!"

"The kids were so excited to jump into the pool after a 6 hour drive! The property was clean, cool and convenient! The house was clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed. Very comfortable and comforting like grandma's house. The beds were the best beds I have ever slept in. The master suite had so much space and was a retreat away from the other bedrooms. You could all be separate and not hear anyone from the living room and kitchen! The airconditioning was not central air, but was great! You could direct the unit towards you and feel the cool air. The house was prepared for us, cool and inviting. The entire family enjoyed the pool, patio and beds."

"The cabin is very modern: kitchen, appliances, comfy beds, and wonderfully decorated. Spotless. It is incredibly close to the entrance of the park and so very convenient. Great wifi, TV and laundry too."

"Hotel was a stop on our way to Southern California. Area wasn’t the best, but I never felt unsafe. The place was clean and the staff were very kind. Stayed with young kids, and it was perfect for a stopover sleep, and there was a grocery store within walking distance to grab some dinner. Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good! Nice clean area to eat in. I would stay again on a trip that way! "

"My husband, daughter, two dogs, and I had a wonderful visit. In all reality it was far too short, but we made the most of our time soaking up Burney Falls, Mt. Lassen, and the excellent cabin. While we enjoyed some meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we also traveled into Shingletown to Pioneer pizza and enjoy every slice of their food as well. Everything you could possibly need is located within the walls of the beautiful cabin and just outside lies an oasis. Not only can you hear Battle Creek running, but you can see it and walk down to it. These hosts are truly top notch and care about their guests. We will certainly be back!"
