"We stayed in the penthouse suite for a very affordable price during off peak. Overlooking the water. Bed was so comfortable, i had the best nights sleep. Option of a separate bath and shower. Lazy boy chairs to enjoy the seaview. All Sky Channels. We loved it!"

"The place was very roomy. It had large living area with clean well apointed kitchen. It was across the street from the ocean. We could park at our door. There was a nice pool. The reception was very helpful and offered us choices of things to to and resturants to visit. We are glad we stayed there. ..."

We took the very quick ferry ride across the harbor to Flaxmill Bay ($7 return trip) and did a couple of hikes over there, which were enjoyable. There is not much of a town at Flaxmill or Cooks Beach Township. Whitianga seemed like a nice town,
