"The home was tucked away in the side of the mountain and across from a beautiful trial. Semi close to town, the trolly was a life saver for the walk back to the home, as it is an uphill walk back. A few house rules that seemed a little over the top ( no shoes on the hardwood, no eating in any bedrooms, no smoking of any kind anywhere on the property-I'm not a smoker but my spouse enjoys a cigar in the evenings) all in all it was a much needed relaxing stay during our RV trip."

"Our family stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the surrounding area. The location was just what we needed for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer State Park and an assortment of other places. From the time we walked through the door it felt welcoming and homelike. We played games at the kitchen table, roasted hot dogs and s’mores over the fire pit and grandchildren, who had never tasted fresh eggs, announced they never wanted store bought eggs again!😆 A good time was had by all. "This was a very nice vrbo. We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great after riding our motorcycle on colder days. The attention to detail with a fully stocked kitchen and fully stocked towels by the door for the hot tub was a nice touch! Also very nice that they provided lots of extra travel size toiletries. We enjoyed the basement with the large tv at the end of a long day. Only issue we had was we could not find a remote for living room tv or get it to turn on manually."

"The property is even more beautiful than in the pictures! Very quite and clean. Layout of the house is perfect for a large group with plenty of space for privacy of each guest. The house is fully stocked with all the necessities and then some. The sauna is good sized and the hot tub was perfect! Would highly recommend this property!"

"A private, peaceful, beautifully built home sitting on a fenced pasture facing away from town with stunning views of the Black Hills including cattle and horses. 3 gorgeous decks-views on every side of this home. This home was built facing a direction where you even have privacy while you are outdoors and set very far away from the road with an entryway marked by large boulders and iron eagle sculptures. Immaculately clean with oversized comfortable furniture in each living area."

"This cabin is fabulous! Close to all the highlights of the black hills. Thw owner was super kind and very helpful with what to see in the black hills. The cabin was well stocked. Loved all the wildlife on the property everyday. Great place to relax after sightseeing!"

"The location and cleanliness were excellent. However the downstairs door to the deck would not lock. Property manager was aware of this BEFORE we checked in and said they couldn't get parts to repair door lock. We were not made aware of this until we tried to lock the door."

"The property is a clean, updated, and no frills kind of place. It is perfect for a stay with your dog and kids. If you are expecting things like tissue, shampoo, a hair dryer, or dish towels, they won’t be there. But the home is bigger than it looks, the beds are comfortable, and the yard is fenced. Again, perfect for a family stay."
