"We loved staying at the Luke Lure Inn. It's nothing fancy but sitting by the pool was very nice, even though the lake beach was closed. Be aware that each room has their own window AC unit- the property DOES NOT have central AC. We were okay with that but just wished they had had ceiling fans! Overall the property is a great value for the price."

"This little cabin more than exceeded our expectations! If you’re looking to truly get away from it all and stay somewhere incredibly serene, tucked away in the forest, and on a mountain, book this place!The minute we walked in, our spirits were lifted. The cabin has a cozy fireplace, a cute kitchen with a really creative drop-down table, and high-end appliances. I especially loved the convection / microwave combo and stovetop.There are two very comfortable beds upstairs. There is also a modern washer/dryer and a great shower. The cabin was one of the cleanest vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had dishes, cutlery, pots, and basic spices, and the bathroom had soap and shampoo.We loved relaxing by the fireplace in the evenings. There are two comfortable recliners, cable TV, and the ability to use your own streaming apps. There’s also a fire pit out back and a clean, well-maintained gas grill on the porch. I grilled steaks and chicken, and everything came out great!We have two dogs, and they absolutely loved running and playing in the woods. The only downside was the spiral staircase—our Dalmatian wouldn’t go upstairs, although our smaller dog did with our help.Overall, this was a beautiful, peaceful, comfortable getaway. It felt like the perfect place to unplug, relax, and enjoy the quiet. We would definitely stay here again!."

"I really wish you wouldn’t allow dogs. They can stay home. It was raining. 2 wet retrievers enter the building. We could hear a dog barking at times and we did smell wet dog in our room. Some hotel chain has to take a stand. Admin is kidding themselves if you don’t think they pee in the rooms. It’s just gross."

"As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!"

"The house itself was wonderful. Large dining room and living room. Great windows to look at the lake. Clean and well kept. Easy to find and close to everything. One thing we did not see and would have been nice to know was that there're no stairs to the lower level where 4 of the beds are from the inside. The only way to get to them was from the outside. We also knew there were stairs down to the lake, but did not realize there was about 6 flights of steps down. It was fine for my husband and I, but not for my parents who are older. We would stay again, just maybe with a different group."

"This property did not disappoint!!! The villa we were in had everything we needed, and was very spacious. Our party had 6 adults and there were plenty enough beds and room for all of us. They have so many things for families to enjoy indoors and outdoor. We will definitely be booking again in the future. If you like to golf this is definitely a place to stay. Beautiful greenways."

"The information about the internet connection provided by Vrbo was incorrect. Fortunately, there was a sheet of paper in the cabin with correct information. The bed was very soft--so soft that it was hard to even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. The access information provided by Vrbo was incorrect--there was no place to enter the access code. Fortunately, the cabin was unlocked and there were keys on the kitchen counter. It is a delightful little cabin which served us well."
