"The place itself is nice. Internally…… its right above a very noise pub doing karaoke till gone 11. The flat is not sound proof at all. We booked this last minute on a Friday for the Saturday night. "AVOID THIS PROPERTY. Stayed in December and could not get the hearing to come on. No support from the owner or hotels.com. Came home a day early but refund for last night refused by owners. Bathroom stank and room was a basement. AVOID AVOID AVOID"

"More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again."

"Turned up to the hotel to be told we didn’t have a booking. Zero empathy or customer service. I had driven 3 hours and myself and my 1 year old had no place to stay and hotels.com weren’t able to relocate us so had to drive home. "

"Stayed for one night for a catch up with friends and a visit to Cheshire Oaks. Very well located to the outlet stores and also to the centre of Chester for food and drinks in the evening. The property was good value for a one night stay, not the comfiest place we've stayed but had everything we needed for the night. "Fantastic apartment in a great location for visiting Chester. Parking is located a bit away from the property and can be a bit difficult to find but only a minor thing. Everything else was really good including the communications from the owner. Highly recommend. "
