The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive. Not sure if they get a lot of trouble as housekeeping also came in during stay but didn't do any cleaning, make beds, or fold towels etc (I only knew they'd been because they folded...

"Great flat local to Gloucester and the docks. Sometimes the out of hours contact was hard to get hold of but that is no way a negative on the flat. Very tidy and clean with all basic items you need."

However the booking policies, which are not mentioned clearly on this site, put us off travelling back. It is furnished to an incredibly high standard and offers comfort, space and security at an excellent price. The phrase home from home is often overused but it's true here. I would not hesitate to stay again and have already recommended it to colleagues, family and friends, for both work and leisure trips."

"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...
