"The property itself is basic yet perfectly comfortably. As mentioned in a previous review, a deep clean would be worthwhile. A couple of updates would soon make this property a five star (a television capable of accessing the internet so youā€™re not limited to free view, a nice coffee pod machine, a juicer / blender etc). The packet of biscuits in the welcome pack was a nice touch but the singular coffee sachets & tea bags made it look cheap. Itā€™s the location that makes this property an...

"It had a nice lounge area. The main bedroom is a little on the small size with not much room to get round the double bed and the bedding smelt musty. One bathroom for 3 bedrooms? Overall ok but probably would not stay again."

"Our stay here was fantastic. The cottage was clean, spacious, clean, and well equipped. The staff was very attentive, beginning with precise directions to get there and continuing throughout our stay. The hot tub was great and we had a couple clear nights for star gazing. We highly recommended Middlehead Cottages!!"

"We would recommend a holiday at "Fern Lea" in Glaisdale. It is a very well organised and comfortable place to stay, winter or summer. The view from the front of the bungalow, across part of the North York Moors, is truly spectacular on a clear day. When we stayed we had the pleasure of brand new bed linen and towels. On-site parking for two cars is also a welcome advantage."
