"Burrowdale is a gem -- a collection of stunning hobbit homes that are high end, plush, and thoughtfully detailed -- all nestled into a gorgeous countryside. We delighted in the sound of crickets, the smell of sweet grasses, the Milky Way overhead, and the generous breakfast. "Good place to stop over for hiking in shashta. Second bedroom bed is a twin bed- only for one person. Ended up crashing on the couch the second night. Otherwise great"

"Overall, we had an outstanding experience. The house was perfect for a large family reunion of all ages. There were only minor issues that we were able to resolve like no additional toilet paper supplied, BBQ grill had been used and not cleaned (used charcoal not removed), hot tub controls were not completely functional. It appears that the previous guests left so much trash that trash collectors didn't take it. But we had a great time and would come back again!"

"Wonderful property. Easy access to I5. Neighbors were so nice! Lots of parking, we took our boat down plus another small car. The owner was extremely nice and very responsive! Communication A++++!"

Quick trip to Redding

"We were making a quick family trip to Oregon and couldn't finish the drive. Looked for a pet-friendly hotel just before midnight and found Comfort Suites. Russell, the only on-staff person, who was pretty new, was very friendly and helpful in our check-in process. The hotel was clean, safe, and provided a free breakfast in the morning. Staff were friendly and professional."
