"This property is serene and isolated yet only minutes from bustling Oak Harbor. The property is well kept and the views are picturesque and mesmerizing. The home is somewhat vintage and sparsely furnished with a less cluttered, peaceful vibe. The king bed was amazingly comfortable. We would be happy to stay here again."

"I would have given this a 4.5 rating if I could. The only reason it doesn't merit a 5 is the extreme noise from the Navy growler training. This house is right in the flight path for carrier landing practice and extremely noisy when that is occurring. This happened one afternoon for a couple hours, and the next evening for a couple hours. It's exciting to watch--a thrill to experience those jets up close and personal. Everything else was wonderful. Owner generously gave us an early checkin, which was appreciated greatly. Very comfortable property for 3 couples, and we'd definitely stay there again despite the noise."

"Great location and the views of the ocean from the house are spectacular. Loved watching the ships of all sizes and purposes from cruise ships to little personal boats. The area is incredibly quiet. House was fully supplied, beds very comfortable and we enjoyed having furniture out on the patio. All in all a 10/10 experience. Would stay again."

"This was our second visit to the Cliffside Cottage and like our first visit it was superb. The host’s attention to the little details is clearly in a class by itself. We have stayed in short-term rentals from the Atlantic to the Pacific and this home is clearly our #1 favorite! We strongly recommend this home as a home base for a visit to wonderful Whidbey Island!"
Charming Waterfront Cottage-NO CLEANING FEE-Water, Mountain & Sunset View

"After communicating with the host to clarify the lack of beach access, she took down the pictures of the listing that were misleading. The view is spectacular and the cabin has everything you need. The bathroom and shower is tiny which was challenging for my 6'2" husband. However, the host went out of her way to supply fresh water, ice, shower steamers, and beautiful fresh flowers from her property. It's a great central location for all of the Whidbey beaches and towns. The host's house and three dogs are a stone's throw from the cabin on one side and on the other side the back deck is a stone's throw from the neighbor's back deck with bushes in between."
