"House was clean and as described. There was only one trail access point near the house. Nearly the entire driveway is sloped. Long trailers can be a challenge to manuever. We were able to park sideways at the bottom, but it definitely takes skill. There were several extras throughout house, but essentials (examples: toilet paper (1.5 rolls) and trash bags (2)) were lacking for a 9 day stay. An "issue" pertaining to a pool inflatable arose that could have been handled better by the hosts. During one of the host's DAILY check-ins he noticed a 10 round tube inflatable broke. Instead of addressing it with me, he opted to lock the remaining toys up as if we were going to wreck everything. We were having such a great time with the pool. The owner's actions really changed the vibe. Very sad given this was something so minor, that we fully intended to replace. If the inflatables weren't to be played with there should be a sign or instruction. There was nothing indicating that was the case. Accidents happen. I'm thankful nothing serious arose."

"Overall, we had a good stay. The location is very close to the trails, basically right on Devil Anse Trail 31 and 135, which was very convenient.The only issue we had was the number of bugs, mostly ants. I understand the property is in the woods, but it seemed like there were efforts being made to control them that just weren’t working well.The Wi-Fi was also very slow — enough for about one phone to check email or make a basic phone call, but not much more. Also, there was no T-Mobile service at all.Other than that, it was a good stay and the trail access was excellent."

"The room was very clean, cleaner than most hotels I've been too and very affordable too.... hotels want more to rent a room than this beautiful place that's got wonderful mountain views You have about every amenity you will really need which was an awesome touch. The bed is incredibly comfortable. The AC is cold and the room had a excellent quality flat screen smart TV. The linens were nice clean and soft as well.Wifi signal was excellent. I would love to continue calling this my home away from home when visiting family in Grundy."

"The house was great for my husband & I. Check in was easy. Sarah responded quickly & answered my questions.We had our side by side with us, there is plenty of parking but the roads are narrow & if your not confident in backing into the driveway it could be a challenge."

"Great place!! Clean, has everything you need, roomy, quiet and good location, we rode the Buffalo mountain, Devils Anse, Rockhouse and Braveheart trails. Pack of stray dogs was entertaining, wanted to take them home with us! Great little drive in restaurant in town, wouldn’t let me say the name on here, but had the best slaw dog I’ve ever had and milkshake! We will definitely stay here again!!"
