"Came for an overnight stay, were settled into our room fast and given internet access for free. The area was quit until the neighbouring property started mulching trees, there were books with lists of restaurants and other conveniences provided and the use of sky tv, coffee tea etc. Everything in the room was neat and well presented, the room was clean. "Great place to stay. Room was very spacious (esp. after dogbox in Auckland) clean and tidy. OK, it is not new, but everything was in working order and full stove, fridge and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, made cooking easy. They also have a small, but adequate, gym on site. We had to hole up here during Cyclone Gabrielle and it was fine for the three nights we stayed. Staff and owners were very helpful and chatty. Bonus was being able to watch T20 Womens World Cup on TV!"

"Our booking was by pure fluke. We were staying in Mangawhai and every holiday rental was totally booked until we came across this beauty. Amy, our host and son Finn welcomed us to their piece of paradise with open arms and big smiles.
