"I am sorry to say that our stay was unexpectedly very bad. Even as we checked in the property was cold. There was NO HEATING and no HOT WATER. After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation. It completely wrecked the evening which was the celebration of my wife's 70th Birthday. Our first night was a nightmare with no ability for us and our guests to have shower for two full days even...

"Great hotel 8 miles outside of Cambridge. 12 minutes from the Park and Ride, if you are intending to visit Cambridge. Nice room with good sound proofing and aircon. Even the windows open. Overall we had a great 2 night stay."

"Very nicely furnished room, well equipped with everything I needed and a few things I didn't. Air conditioning was a bonus in the current heat wave. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast and evening meals were good. Plus it is very convenient for Duxford IWM."

"When you hear the expression you get what you pay for this was this hotel! Nothing drastically wrong with it but it’s dated. Bathroom was very dated. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows lovely though. Parking excellent. Room was very hot but it was during a heat wave ! If you’re looking for a cheap stay it’s perfect, if you’re looking for a luxury stay go somewhere else!"

"Booked 2 rooms 8 months ago for a one night stay due to going to an event early on Sunday morning 19th July 2026. Arrived at reception to check in to be told that they only had one room and that the booking system had allowed over bookings which we were told is quite common ?? A very poor apology from reception so they told us to go over the road to the holiday inn and just give the surname in and they would have a room for the second party.
