"Hotel 24 South is a superb place to stay in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. The historic building is modern and retains the grandeur of it's past. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The staff is exemplary and if you are in town to see a production at The American Shakespeare Company, it is right next door and they're plays should not be missed on a visit to Staunton. Hotel 24 South was a revelation. Quiet, elegant and a wonderful destination. "

"Our one bedroom casa condo was lovely, and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the little balcony. We were surprised there was nothing open in the resort for breakfast on a Tuesday. We appreciated the recommendation to drive a few miles to the Thunderbird Cafe for a good breakfast. Also disappointed we couldn’t use the hot tub at 8:45 pm when it wasn’t scheduled to close until 9:00. We had spent the day hiking and had been looking forward to relaxing a few minutes in the hot tub."

"The breakfast buffet was a disappointment. It needs to scale down the choices and provide fresh offerings. Boiled eggs would be better than dry scrambled eggs. Of course the best would be to be able to order so that you receive a freshly cooked breakfast. . "

"Great happy helping staff, a big plus these days! Rooms were clean, hotel in good repair. Breakfast was awesome. Coffee always available to guests. And Hometown Grill across street was great, gave us 10% off for staying at this hotel. Everything you need close by. "

"Keurig in room is way above the drip coffee makers at Comfort Inn and Courtyard by Marriott. None have real half and half in room. Bed was very comfortable. AC was quiet. Soundproofing from hall noise was excellent."
