Lakeside cabin, remodeled, cozy, pet friendly with boat launch & free boat slip.

"My husband and I rented this cabin so we could attend our Grandson's wedding nearby. The hosts Karen and her husband Clint greeted us when we arrived. Clint spent time and showed us how to use the lockbox. and answered our questions. Cabin 3 is very cozy and after a few minutes felt like home. Fully equipped kitchen included a Keurig machine which came in handy. The property had homey touches on the walls and in the rooms. The living room had comfortable seating for 5 people and a large flat screen TV and numerous streaming choices as well as live TV. Both bedrooms were equipped with smaller flatscreens suited to the size of the room. The cabin had a split HVAC system in both bedrooms and in the living room--since they provide heat and A/C it made it very comfortable our entire trip. The bathroom had nice tile in both the shower and the toilet area. The deck out front was welcoming with comfortable patio furniture and views of the lake. You won't be disappointed if you pick this as your vacation choice and we are hoping we can rent Cabin 3 in the future if we should visit the area again.Parking was great with 2 clearly marked parking spaces per cabin and this was a very quiet area which was exactly what we had hoped for."

"This property was as advertised. It’s good for two people and a pet. Everything was clean and well stocked. The boat launch and dock were all good. The host communicated very well. Having a market across the street is very convenient."

"It is a cozy little cabin that stayed comfortably cool all day. There is a small area out the master bedroom that is very nice sit at, it stays shady most of the day, and is enclosed so it is safe to let a dog roam. The neighborhood wasn’t busy (it was right after Labor Day), and the market and some eating places are in walking distance. Unfortunately, it is easy to hear noises outside, and the day we were leaving the storage room outside next to the master bedroom was being used before 8am which was noisy, and then someone was using a leaf blower by the front door"

"Great location near water and in a comfortable community. Host was very responsive. Main home was comfortable for 10 adults. There were a few deferred maintenance items needing attention, but they were not significant enough to negatively affect our stay. Overall a pleasant vacation and we would likely book again."

"Hard to find a place to fit a group as large as ours and this was perfect. The combo of the 3 units gave us the space we needed for big dinners and quiet mornings. We have been coming to Lake Almanor for over 40 years, but our numbers have grown in the last 10. The location of this was great, and there is a small swimming spot, which I was concerned about since it’s in the marina but the water was crystal clear and clean."
