Made by Trappist monks, they only make enough to ensure their way of life so you can't buy it to take away, you can only drink it on site. They also produce a medium and a blonde beer. The beers are vegan-friendly :)

"3 generations of us stayed for 7 nights. Great for the children to be so near to the sea. Property over 4 floors so perhaps not ideal for very young children. Spacious living and dining area. Top floor shower drainage was poor and a garage provided for one car but parking a second was challenge during the day but no issues at night. Overall, a good property."

"We arrived at the property and check in was simple.The property itself was very clean, simple, modern and open plan. It was very well stocked. There was a beautiful patio with outdoor seating. there was a fenced area at the front and there was a large area by the side of the pool that I can imagine would serve well as an area to use(it wasn't quite ready for our stay as was being fitted by artificial grass- this will be a bigger positive for the next people staying here!) Tom was the best host...

When we arrived we realized, that the former Renter had been there with 22 !!! Peoples … and the cleaning company really had a lot of work to make it acceptable. Thanks again to them! "Four chaps on a motorcycle holiday, we stayed two nights and it was perfect for us. Rooms were clean with good bathrooms, breakfast was great, the bar was open and if you didn’t fancy a 30 minute walk into the centre of Ypres, a taxi ride was €15. So much to see in the area. Staff were great and really helpful. Not fancy but a perfect base."

"Holiday Suites was great! In a brilliant location with a lot for the kids to do. Access was really easy, lovely restaurants just down the road and a awesome beach just a couple of minutes drive. Stayed with 2 of our kids and the apartment offers all you need for a great stay! definitely recommend."
