"We were looking for a B&B in the country with wonderful views, good breakfast and close to Whiteface Mountain. We certainly found that in Bark Eater Inn! Each morning we had a wonderful farm to table breakfast prepared by our friendly hosts, Meghan and Wendy, while enjoying wonderful views from any window. Whiteface Mountain was only a short drive away (a must see)! Our room was comfortable and the house decorated tastefully. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay and hopefully will...

Shelburne proved to be a great location for our 4-night stay: a quiet town offering both good access to Burlington and the amazing local Shelburne Museum, which is unlike anything we’ve encountered before in its diversity and quality of exhibits. "Booked this inn for two nights over Memorial Day weekend for two reasons: first, my husband was running in the Vermont City marathon, and second, the room featured a hot tub which my husband would use following the race. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating and they provided a delicious gourmet breakfast. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again when we are back in the area. "
