River Glen joining the River Welland The River Glen at Surfleet Seas End is non-tidal until the sluice gate by the Ship Inn, which is on the right of the photograph. The water course on the left is Vernatt's Drain, a large drainage ditch that runs between the Welland (in the foreground) and the Glen.

From the Welland floodbank There is a bridleway along the floodbank here and a footpath along the track straight ahead. Crowtree Farm is among the trees in the centre.
