Here are just a few things I like about Black Mountain Inn. 1.- There's a side table on each side of the bed, convenient for CPAPs. 2.- There are open electrical outlets for our use. 3.- They provide bar soap, and the soap is not white, so I can find it when I drop it in the water. 4.- The chairs outside each room are comfortable and -- thanks to upstairs balcony -- dry ... even when it's been raining. 5.- Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff. "

"Very interesting place. I loved the historic feel. However, the floors were very squeaky and almost felt like you could fall through sometimes. The continental breakfast, although appreciated, was very slim. One type of (huge) muffins, stale bagels, yogurt, orange juice, coffee. Having some milk, cereal or fruit would have been nice. Friendly staff however, we barely saw anyone at all."
