"The staff was very helpful. We were able to get an early check in which was very nice after a long travel night. Location was very close to main train station and walkable to local scenes. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We especially liked the location. It was convenient for us to walk from the train station to the hotel with our luggage. (We are a couple in our early seventies.) After checking in, the hotel's location allowed us to walk to Marienplatz in time to watch the 5:00 performance of the Glockenspiel. The breakfast was great!"

"The maritim hotel is located near to the Munich central station. If you catch the S5 train from the airport to Munich hauptbahnhof, then it's no more than a 5 minute walk away. On arriving at the hotel, the reception staff were very welcoming when we were checking in and gave us all the information we would need regarding breakfast time and the onsite facilities. We were also given some maps of the centre of Munich and some bottles of water. The room we had booked was okay for our stay, it was as we expected, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet selection was good and the staff in the restaurant were really nice and very helpful (especially when you operated the coffee machine for the first time), something for all tastes. If there was one thing that could be improved, I would say that the hotel should advertise what meals are available in an evening, they may do so, but I couldn't find it. Although we didn't use the swimming pool or sauna, it was good to know that they were there if we wanted. We found all the staff at the hotel to be very friendly and helpful, and we will certainly stay there again on our next trip to Munich. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Maritim Hotel. The location is pretty good with the railway station (ICE, regional train services, SBahn and Ubahn services there) across the road so getting around is easy. The tram stop is also nearby. Marienplatz is around 10 minutes walk, so you can get to the City centre easily."

"The staff was pretty great and the highlight of this property. Pictures don’t reflect the true property. The carpet in my room was quite stained. The lobby furniture was dated and stained as well. The property itself is 2 star at best, but the staff boosts it another star. The bed is very hard and I got very poor sleep. The breakfast was small but quality was good there so mostly worth the cost. I definitely got what I paid for and nothing more."

"Breakfast is decent, a kind of typical American one. The AC vent is open directly right on top of the bed which could cause some headaches (literally). Our bedroom window open towards the inner courtyard so it is very quiet. The street in front of the hotel is extremely busy and noisy. It is not too far from the old town, around 20 minutes walk."
