Top Westhalten Hotel Reviews
Pierre & Vacances Résidence Le Clos d'Eguisheim
10/10 Excellent
"Staff super synphatique , bien situé , belle chambre"
Hôtel Maison Turenne
10/10 Excellent
"This is a nice hotel situated less than 10 minutes walk from Petite Venise. I really appreciated the vast breakfast buffet, which had an enormous range of hot and cold choices, including Chia seed and coconut milk pudding, scrambled eggs, many different pastries, breads, and cake-like breads, an assortment of local hams, and cheeses, cereal, yogurt, etc., etc. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and I loved the towel heater in the bathroom. I would stay here again and recommend it because it was a great value."
Genusshotel Alte Post

"Arrived in the evening, very hot, 33 C, and was greeted with a cold glass of white wine or water, excellent! And so was the rest of our stay —"
Paul & Pia By Stay Collection

"I loved this hotel, it was clean, cute and everyone was helpful. I would highly recommend it to anyone, its an easy walk from the station and into central Colmar. There is a bus stop just 5 mins away if you want to travel out to Base Nautique or any of the other surrounding areas. Beds were comfy, room was clean. The only thing to bare in mind is that the shower is exposed to the room, so if you are sharing with friends, be aware of this."
Odalys City Apartment Hotel - Colmar Centre
10/10 Excellent
"You need to find parking nearby first before you gain access to onsite parking."
B&B HOTEL Colmar Lumière
8/10 Good
"A basic room that was clean, could do with a bit of tlc though as the sliding, bathroom door wasn't very secure. The air con unit was helpful as the room was warm. Breakfast was ok, a fair choice."
Hôtel Gustave Colmar
8/10 Good
"The good was the location. It was close to the old city. The staff tried to be helpful. Had a little bit of a language. Barrier parking can get tough late in the afternoon the bad. The breakfast was not our favorite thing. The hot plate was barely warm. By the time you got your food. It was cold. Suggestion would be move the coffee machine away from the food because it’s in the corner and it produces a very congested area"
KYRIAD PRESTIGE MULHOUSE - Basel

"We stay here every year. Great location."

"Checkin was a disaster compounded by unnecessary surliness and incompetence. They demand a 24 hour pre check in online and I did that noting that I would stop by at 1 pm to drop bags and avail myself of their luggage storage option. I received an email back thanking me for pre-check in. I showed up at 3 pm and there was a family from Montreal also looking to check in early. The phone didn’t pick up then a random guy came and accosted us for being early and I explained I spelled it out in the pre check in. He said to give him 5 minutes. That turned into fifteen minutes and then some other guy showed up and accosted us again and shut the door and left us out on the street in the hot weather. I found his language to be rude and abrasive as did the Montreal family. Finally some hotel guests took pity on us and let us in and showed us where the luggage storage was and we went to get some water nearby (why that was so difficult for the hotel staff Ill never know). I don’t know why they bother with the pre-registration kabuki. Then my room didn’t have a frying pan but there was a whisk and a spatula. After three days I gave up asking. It’s unfortunate because it’s a nicely renovated old building in a convenient spot though it was interesting that they have a placard at the front desk advising guests not to argue with staff so somehow the surliness is built into the hospitality illusion they offer. It was like a surly Fawlty Towers Totally uncalled for. C’est dommage."
