We were given the VIP room! Had all the little details like toiletries, make up remover, lots of mirrors etc. even a kitchen with microwave and pots and pans. Kuerig with gourmet coffee, tea. Room was so cozy and comfortable. Loved it! Definitely would go back!

Great location and facility

We have been to New York City many many times over the years. This hotel was our very favorite overall. We stayed at fancier ones. We’ve stayed at National chains. The personal care and attention you get from everyone at Hotel Scherman has been unsurpassed. While my husband would have preferred bacon and eggs biscuits and gravy for breakfast, the kids and I were very happy with the complementary continental breakfast. The staff took great care of us. They stored our luggage and were very generous with getting in and out of our luggage when we needed. They helped us find a good restaurant to eat. We were only in the city for overnight. The staff is genuine. The room was very small but nice. It is also New York City so a small room is ok. The room was clean.

Travel to NY often. The Arlo always is a great stay. Clean, smells amazing, good vibes, friendly/stylish staff, great decor, reasonably priced. Just do it. Stay here. Perfect for solo travel.

Very new interior. A good deal compared with other hotels in the area. Nice midtown location. Nearby subway and bus. Nice little cafe inside hotel (and bar in late afternoon and evening. Rooms while not large are big enough and larger than many hotels.

The check in was online and I love that part , place was very clean and had everything inside I needed for comfortable stay ! Loved having full kitchen to use !

Check in person was direct, friendly, anticipatory, and welcoming. Room was clean, nicely designed, building cute! I don’t know why more hotels aren’t like this - high quality, slightly small but just what you need for sleeping/spending a little time in the room. I will book again, excellent value.
